On a nine-day tour earlier this summer, we visited the Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead with a three-year-old as our tour guide. She gave the day at Deanna Rose double thumbs-up; in other words, it’s a must-see, must-do for families with children from three to ten.
Open 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily with one extra hour for touring on weekends, Deanna Rose will provide a full five hours of pure fun for children. Admission is free Monday through Thursday and a mere $2 per person Friday, Saturday, and holidays. A family membership for locals is $35, for non-locals $50…
